Introducing Me

Who am I? Why am I starting a blog? And most importantly why should anybody read my reviews?

So firstly my name is Farah and I love to read. Poetry, romance, drama, sci-fi – thin books, fat books and everything in between – I’m not a particularly discriminate reader. Because I love to read so much I thought to myself ‘why not start reviewing what you read so other people can appreciate?’ Especially when I consciously found myself seeking out reviews before and after books to help get a feel for the journey I may soon be undertaking/if others had felt how I had. Once I enrolled in Kindle Unlimited, I was a goner – churning out book reviews sometimes daily and I’ve found great satisfaction in my growing list of published reviews.

I was then given the opportunity to alpha/beta read ARC’s of an author named Alana Khan’s books after fully enjoying her writing style and have been on her team since 2019. I also recently became an alpha reader for another author named Deja Blue.

I have been independently reviewing for Amazon and Goodreads for a long while and joined NetGalley for access to ARC’s of books prior to publication to read and review. I then had the thought of starting a ‘book blog’, especially as I am reading and reviewing books very frequently anyway. Why not start a blog and include my book reviews there as well?

So welcome to my latest endeavour of sharing my love for books. I hope you enjoy the ride!

I’m an avid reader, particularly of poetry and romance genres although I often read anything that takes my fancy. I’m an alpha/beta reader for author Alana Khan, an alpha reader for author Deja Blue and an ARC for NetGalley with a long review history on Amazon and Goodreads as well. Welcome to my blog!
