Disclaimer – I was sent an ARC digital download of this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was also sent an ARC of the book prior to this (‘Seduced by a Steele’) in the Steele series by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
The book starts by picking up where the previous one left of, however, I would say the book can be read as a stand-alone or as a part of the series. I would always recommend reading books as a series just because it provides a clearer and more round picture of the world you’re inhabiting during your time reading and allows you to get to know the characters and their story’s more fully.
I enjoyed getting to know Delphine and Gannon’s story’s and what made them who they were. The characters were well portrayed and had good storylines. My only nitpick was that sometimes I felt like the characters interactions wasn’t entirely cohesive and made me feel a little off-put. But for the most part I did enjoy the read and particularly enjoyed learning more about the life of a trucker.
This was a slow burn romance with switches between both main characters POV which is something I like in romance books. All in all it was a light hearted and easy read and a good conclusion to the Steele books.
