The Book of Love by Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Ninowy

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Is love the supreme form of energy? I don’t know. But I know it is more real than the sun, the moon, and gravity. It is more like the wind, the breeze, the waves, and light. It nears the distant, heals the heart, and heartens the destitute.”

I came across this book completely by accident, but I’ve found myself infinitely grateful I did. Full of verse about love and the Almighty in a beautifully decorated book that incites the heart to reconnect and centre.

I found the verse incredibly thought provoking and heart lifting, a truly miraculous written piece that you can’t help but feel in every fibre of your being. A piece that preaches about love and it’s importance in faith and Islam is a topic that I think I’ll never tire of reading about.

I like to read books that make me feel and this book definitely did that. It’s a wonderfully easy read, especially during Ramadan where you’re trying to draw closer to Allah (swt) and a very impactful one as far as I’m concerned. Would definitely recommend this book!

He (swt) created you by love, with love, to love, for love.
